SUP'T R. C. GRAYSON TRANSFERRED TO TULSA
R. C. Grayson, superintendent
of the Frisco Railway's River Division here
was transferred to Tulsa,
Okla., as superintendent of the Southwestern
Division, effective August
1, Frisco officials announced.
Grayson was succeeded her
by W. R. Allen who was superintendent of the
Frisco's Central Division
at Ft. Smith, Ark.
Grayson went to work for
the Frisco in 1941 as a brakeman, later becoming
conductor, train dispatcher,
terminal trainmaster and assistant superintendent.
He was promoted to superintendent
of the Central Division in 1951 and the River
Division in 1952.
Allen has been with the
Frisco since 1936 when he started as a trainman.
Subsequently he became safety
supervisor, terminal trainmaster and assistant
superintendent. He has been
superintendent of the Central Division since 1952.
